Cobalt

The Journey of this warrior, Cobalt

We ordered Cobalt a few years before COVID. He was shipped from New York. We had ordered a super red and turquoise discus,a snakeskin discus of some sort, and finally a cobalt discus. I think the company we ordered the discus from got mixed up with the snakeskin discus and the cobalt discus with some other type of discus, shipping some other random discus. A blue diamond discus was in place of the snakeskin discus, and some weird (wild discus looking) discus arrived in place of the cobalt discus (this was Cobalt). Because of this, we named Cobalt, Cobalt. We also ordered juvenile discus, because they were not as expensive. Cobalt was the smallest of the batch, including the ones that we already had in our tank. After living a happy life, he died in the year, 2018, just one year before COVID, may that man rest in peace...

    Some fun facts about Cobalt..!

  1. He was the smallest of the batch
  2. Yes, as stated before, he was the smallest man in the school of fish. Interestingly, enough, there is a pecking order in a group of fish too (if it is not too big). Being the smallest did not help Cobalt, because of his size, he was picked on a lot by the other fish. Being small also proved as an advantage as well. Because of his size, he could go hide in places in the tank where the other fish cannot reach, because they were to big to go there.

  3. I felt like he was the only "sensible" one
  4. Cobalt was different, at least from the other dudes that were in my tank. Most of the time, you would see this man snooping around the cracks and crevices of the aquascape of the tank, looking for something to eat, or something of that nature. Then, if you looked at the other fish, they were following you begging for food like idiots, or being dumb and hiding. Put it simply, his behavior was different from most of the other fish that were present in the tank at the time.

This is a real image of the epick warrior, Cobalt (sorry for the bad resolution, but it's not like I can take another picture of him because he's dead).
